So, the next topic for the webinar in January is going to be "Diagnostics and Prevention of Overtraining". But as for further topics you have an opportunity to participate in the survey and choose what is more interesting for you. 1. I'll try, but you know that live participation is always better (you have an opportunity to ask questions, discuss stuff, and so on). By the way, Gernot, have you looked at the survey topics?

  2. It would be better in the evening. 12 GMT is midday and it is more difficult to conciliate (e.g. I have a competition at that time). Anyway, to record it is an alternative solution.

    1. You know that for Japan and Hong Kong and the Siberian part of Russia it is almost impossible to move webinar time for the later. Unfortunately, it is really tricky to find time suitable for every country. But you may ask your National Federation about webinar specially for your country with nice time and particular topics.

    Many thanks anyway

    1. I will record the video and try to upload to some free channel. But, please, ask your National Federation about webinars specially for your country with nice day, time and your favorite topics. This is really hard to find day and time suitable for dozens countries.

  4. I have another commitment that day so it would be good to have a recording to view later

    1. well, the point is to have all people online together. A webinar is different from a YouTube video. Let's discuss more suitable days/times.

  5. Joining others in their comments - recording this session would help many, including me. I’m in PST and this is just too early.

    1. Thanks for your feedback. I've set up the time based on countries' activities (replies in the questionnaire). The USA and New Zealand were absent. That's the reason.

  7. Thank you for the webinar today Mike. It confirmed and consolidated my learning as a coach. There was a lot of material so I look forward to viewing the recording.
A couple of things - a good TED talk by Eduardo Briceno "When performing gets in the way of improving" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaiwGb0csas
very much along the lines of your early points.
Also the "Better Orienteering" website goes through some of the things you mentioned - Plan, Picture, Direction and (Distance) with the reinforcement of the fact that maps are accurate enough these days to avoid having to clutter up our brains by counting paces.

Hopefully you get to the donation finish line!
